Taizé Service of Preparation
Held in the chapel, this is a contemplative service in the Taizé style including prayer, readings, music, and silence—a break in the midst of hectic coming and going. Childcare is available.

Celebration of Emmanuel Concert
By popular demand, the annual Christmas Concert of the music ministry will be offered twice this year. Featuring another original script by Carolyn McDowell, this telling of the Christmas story focuses on the perspective of a shepherd and a magi. The concert is held in the sanctuary and features many of the choirs and ensembles of the church as well as brass, dramatic lighting, and staging. Childcare is available.

Y’all Come Christmas Eve Choir Rehearsal
Members, guests, returning students, and everyone else is invited to come to the sanctuary for a single rehearsal on “Christmas Eve Eve” to prepare to sing in the Christmas Eve Choir at the 4:30 p.m. service, the 6:30 p.m. service, or both.
December 24 at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services
Held in the sanctuary, these are identical services of readings, carols, drama, and sermon that conclude with the lighting of candles while singing “Silent Night.” Childcare is available.
