20th Annual Avondale Estates Christmas Tour of Homes & Holiday Market

Catch the Avondale Trolley and Tour the Town

Trolleys will be back in town to transport you to six of Avondale’s most interesting homes as well as a Live Nativity at the Avondale Estates First Baptist Church and The Museum School in its new location at the former Forrest Hills Elementary School. The Holiday Market will feature everything from Art to Zany gift items while the Market Café will serve delicious soups and hot apple cider.

Visit some of Avondale’s loveliest homes, starting with the English Cottage on Dartmouth Avenue built in the early 20s and a Dutch Revival also built in the 20s that has been in the same family for five generations. Other homes include the home of Finders Keepers’ Bonnie Kallenberg built in the 60s and another 60s home built in the California Contemporary/Frank Lloyd Wright style. Two of the newest homes built on some of the few remaining lots in Avondale contain elements of the Craftsman style.
