DeKalb Symphony Orchestra’s 2013-2014 Season Opens with Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto

Justin Bruns, Assistant Concertmaster of the Atlanta Symphony, launches this DSO season with his soaring performance of what has been described as “truly inspiring music in the great Russian Romantic tradition.” Also on the program will be Glazunov’s Triumphal March and Chopianina, Ragtime by Stravinsky and Giliere’s Russian Sailors’ Dance. Avondale resident and musician, George Brandt, is the concert Master of this fine orchestra.
