David Watkins is Professor Emeritus of Piano and former coordinator of keyboard studies at Kennesaw State University. Mr. Watkins made his solo recital debut in New York at Carnegie Recital Hall in May 1986. He also served on the summer artist faculty of the Eastern Music Festival and holds degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
Also on the program will be Finlandia by Sibelius, Smetana's From Bohemia's Forests and Meadows and Singing River from Wood Notes by William Grant Still.
