Banks and Shange join the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra for Summer Pops

Banks and Shane & DSO Head up Summer Pops 

Banks & Shane will be the featured artists performing with DSO on the Summer Pops concert Friday, July 18, 2014 at 8:00 pm. For forty years now, Banks Burgess, Paul Shane, and their fabulous band have brought folks in Atlanta the best entertainment the town has ever seen. Their high-spirited renditions of old-time rock n’ roll, folk, bluegrass, and country are known for bringing capacity crowds to their feet! It’s high-energy good-time music, spiced with a healthy dose of the good-natured wit and patter that Banks and Paul Shane have fine-tuned on their tours across the U.S. and around the world.

Always, the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra sends THANKS and a BIG SHOUT OUT to Michael O’Keefe’s Avondale Pizza Cafe for his continued support of the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra. A generous portion of the July 18 evening proceeds are donated to the DSO.
