Weekend Planner: Photo Exhibit, Farmer's Market and Flea Market

If you don't have plans for the weekend, here are some things to do in and around Decatur and Avondale Estates.

When/where: 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Decatur Library, 215 Sycamore St.

Why go: Waterscapes, a nature photography exhibit showcasing the work of Decatur-based photographers David Foster, Jerome Walker and Virginie Drujon-Kippelen will run the whole month of February. The photographers will share insights during an artists' talk at 4 p.m. Saturday.  A reception will follow until 5:30 p.m. 

Pricing: Free.

Why go: Lots of weird stuff for sale.

When/where: 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, at the , 2000 Century Blvd NE, Atlanta.

Why go: See actors who play zombies on The Walking Dead. Drawings every hour until 4 p.m.

Pricing: $5.

 

When/where: 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at , 2226 N Druid Hills Road NE, Atlanta.

Why go: Navy Seabee Veterans of America Island X-1 Atlanta meet at the Piccadilly Restaurant. All Seabees, former and active, including active reserve and Honeybees are invited.

Price: Free, but lunch is on you.
