Weekend Planner: Chili Cook Off, 'Classical' Rock, 5K Run, Bike Ride, Rolling Farmers Market

Don't just sit around this weekend--Get Out and do something.

Fire in the Hole! First Annual Chili Cook Off. The Beer Growler is throwing this chili cookoff starting at noon Saturday at the store in Avondale Estates. Admission is $10 and includes chili, live music, a cornhole tournament and vendors. For info, visit www.thebeergrowler.net.

Rockers Play Classical Music. Jeff Blanks, Matthew Trautwein, and Matthias Young bring their classical trio, the Prestige, back to the Academy Theatre for an evening of music for guitar, piano, violin, voice and guitar ensemble. The show starts at 8 p.m. Saturday and tickets are $10.

Run for Justice 5K. This event benefits the the Atlanta Legal Aid Society and is also a qualifying run/walk event in Decatur's Grand Slam Fitness Challenge. It starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at One Step At A Time in Oakhurst. You can register online or on race day. $25.

Farm Mobile at Intown Ace. Farm Mobile is a rolling farmers market that will park at 4 p.m. Friday at Intown Ace Hardware at 1404 Scott Blvd. Free admission.

An autumn bike ride. Houndstooth Road bike shop and Decatur Active Living have organized an "Autumn Tweed and Vintage Ride" to start at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at at the new Sq/Ft Boutique at 149 Sycamore Street in Decatur. Riders are "encouraged to dress in the spirit of the occasion with your finest autumn tweed or vintage looks." Free.
