Watershed Reopened Thursday in Buckhead
The restaurant that closed last year in Decatur will have a very different menu, promises chef Joe Truex. Fried Chicken Night remains, however, though it will happen on Wednesday.
Watershed, , reopened at its new Buckhead address at 11 a.m. Thursday May 24.
Among the new features at the 1820 Peachtree Road address: a large patio, new signage and a liquor license ready to go before opening day.
Julia LeRoy joined the crew as a chef de cuisine alongside executive chef Joe Truex. In an interview on the website eater.com, Truex said,

The menu will all be new, nothing from the old spot with the exception of Fried Chicken Night, which will be served differently and the truffle chicken salad. The new menu will be Southern-inspired with flavors from the Georgia Coast to the Louisiana Bayou and everything in between including the diverse ethnic flavors found throughout the South.
Fried Chicken Night will be on Wednesdays. It was Tuesdays at the old Watershed.

The restaurant partly owned by Emily Saliers of the Indigo Girls closed its Decatur location .
Watershed helped with its modernized Southern menu created by then-chef Scott Peacock. The building on West Ponce is still for lease.
