Today: Candlelight Vigil on the Square

Here are 5 Things you need to know about this date -- Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012.

1. Light a candle. The Women's Resource Center to End Domestic Violence will hold its 21st annual candlelight vigil at 7 p.m. at the community bandstand on the Decatur Court Square. For information, visit the group's website.

2. This won't hurt. The City Schools of Decatur will offer flu shots for CSD children, staff and family members (ages 6 months and up) at 3 p.m. at the 4/5 Academy on Fifth Avenue. $20.

3. Weather. Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain in the morning. High around 70, low around 50.
