Taste of the Town This Thursday

Event at The Solarium will feature food from many of Decatur's best restaurants.

Samples of food from many of Decatur's top restaurants will be available at the third annual Taste of the Town, to be held Thursday, Aug. 25, at in Oakhurst Village.

Tickets are $10. (Earlier information to Patch incorrectly said tickets were $25.) Festivities start at 5:30 p.m. and end about 9:30 p.m. There will be a silent auction, live music, a raffle for an iPad, cash bars and plenty of food.

Keller Williams Realty Metro Atlanta is hosting the event. Money raised will benefit the Decatur Education Foundation and KW Cares. According to its website, KW Cares is a 501(c) (3) public charity created to support Keller Williams Realty associates and their immediate families with hardship as a result of a sudden emergency.

Restaurants represented include Burnt Fork BBQ, Bhojanic, Cole's Italian Ice, Farm Burger, Rail Kitchen & Bar, Feast, Matador Mexican Cantina, Capozzi's, Nectar,  Parker's on Ponce, Saba, Universal Joint, Wahoo, Isabel's Café, the Iberian Pig and New Orleans SnoBall Café.
