Steady Hand To Partner With Cakes & Ale

The coffee business will move into the Cakes & Ale Bakery, which has a separate space from the restaurant.

Steady Hand Pour House, the coffee business that's been looking for a home since leaving Emory Village, will move into the Cakes & Ale Bakery space in Decatur.

Steady Hand announced the move Friday on its Facebook page. The official opening is July 9.

Jordan Chambers of Steady Hand said the bakery, which operates in a separate space next to the Cakes & Ale restaurant, will be rebranded to represent both businesses.

Chambers said he will manage the bakery with the two staffs merging. The transition will probably last through July, normally a slow month in the restaurant business.

Since leaving Emory Village in April, Steady Hand has operated temporarily at the Iberian Pig in Decatur and Empire State South in Midtown.

The Steady Hand Facebook page said:

Exited to announce our partnership with the good folks at Cakes & Ale! Come see us for our grand opening July 9 and follow us at @steadycakes. Can't wait to get started and return the love we've received since our shop closed. We've missed you...#mmgghhrrmm!
