His time at Ga. Tech was very meaningful for him and his wife, Sue. They made a host of friends, many of whom they have kept in touch with across the years. They also formed valuable friendships at the Home Mission Board and, since 1969, at their beloved congregation at Oakhurst Baptist Church. At Oakhurst, he served as a deacon, taught Sunday school classes, and served or chaired almost every committee in the church.

Warren loved spending time with his family, listening to classical and sacred music, reading, gardening, and doing building and repair projects. He and Sue made several summer trips with Georgia Tech graduates to help build a church near Kenai, Alaska. His travels also took him all over the U.S., the Middle East, Africa, and to Europe, where he and Sue especially loved the British Isles.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Roxie Woolf, brothers Herbert Woolf, Jr. and Glenn Woolf, daughter-in-law Edie Woolf, son-in-law Bill Leonard and granddaughter Sarah Woolf. He is survived by his wife, his children Susan Woolf Leonard, Bill Woolf (Donna), and David Woolf (Mim), grandchildren J.J. Leonard (Rebecca), Shannon Connolly (Matt), Katie Woolf, Kendall Hughes (Robert) and Ben Ewing and great-grandchildren Celia, Julia, Liam, William, Paige, and James. He is also survived by his brother, Raymond Woolf (Peggy), his brother-in-law Dan Barker (Nancy), and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27 at 2 p.m. at Oakhurst Baptist Church, 222 East Lake Drive, Decatur GA 30030. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Oakhurst Baptist Church (address above) or the Warren Woolf Endowment Fund, c/o Ga. Tech Baptist Campus Ministry, 740 Techwood Drive. Atlanta GA 30313.
