Saturday's Easter Egg Hunt Canceled due to Weather

To make up for the cancellation, officials are inviting families to stop by the Decatur Visitor's Center for goody bags.

 

The Decatur Minute blog reports that the Easter Egg hunt scheduled for Saturday, March 22, has been canceled because of the forecast of inclement weather.

However, the little ones can still enjoy some special treats. Here's the note from the city's blog:

We invite you to stop by the Decatur Visitor’s Center, 113 Clairemont Ave., and pick up a treat bag, candy and Easter Bunny Ears.

The Visitors Center is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Stay dry and enjoy your weekend!

The Easter Egg Hunt had been scheduled to take place on the lawn at the Decatur First Baptist Church.
