'Jobs Bus' Making Visits
Looking for work? Visit the DeKalb County Mobile Career Center on Tuesday.
Avondale Estates and Decatur residents looking for work can visit the this week.
The bus comes to the Covington Library at 3500 Covington Highway from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10.
On Thursday, July 12, the Jobs Bus will visit the Villages of East Lake at 460 East Lake Blvd. during those same hours.

Major features of the resource center include 13 computer stations; a private interview area; high-speed satellite Internet connection; printer, scanner and copy services; and a fully accessible ADA workstation with movable table and auxiliary.
Businesses will be able to use the mobile unit for recruiting, pre-employment screenings, interviewing, and training.

The mobile unit will also provide residents with essential services including job search assistance, adult workshops and training, resume writing and interviewing tips.
