Important Dates For Decatur Schools
Student meet-and-greets will be July 31 and the first day of school is Aug. 1. New teacher orientation starts Monday.
Students in the City Schools of Decatur will report for classes Thursday, Aug. 1. But here are some dates you may need to know before that.
- Monday, July 22. New teacher orientation at Decatur High and the high school performing arts center.
- Tuesday, July 23. New teacher orientation at Decatur High and the high school performing arts center.
- Wednesday, July 24. New teacher orientation at respective schools.
- Thursday, July 25. First day for all teachers. Rally at Decatur High Performing Arts Center.
- Wednesday, July 31. Student meet and greets at their schools. 3-4 p.m. at College Heights Early Childhood Learning Center and 4/5 Academy On Fifth Avenue. 4-5 p.m. at Renfroe Middle School. 5-6 p.m. at all elementary schools.
- Thursday, Aug. 1. First day of classes for students.
