Don't Want to Cook on Christmas? You Have Options
Sawicki's, Community Que, Publix and Kroger will all pre-cook holiday meals. On Christmas Day, Starbucks, Sushi Avenue on the Square and Waffle House will be open and serving.
Don't want to cook for Christmas Day? You don't have to starve or eat crackers from the convenience store. Here are some options in Decatur and Avondale Estates for Christmas Day and Christmas Eve.
Sawicki's
You can buy a holiday meal of of standing rib roast ($16/lb. raw, $18/lb. cooked), spiral sliced ham $7.50), a crown roast of pork ($17, $19), tenderloin ($24, $27) or turkey ($4.50, $7.50) along with a variety of sides ($7.99 each).

The restaurant will sell cooked hams for $45 and turkeys for $40.

Regular turkey dinner (7-10 servings). Includes 10-to 12-lb cooked turkey and one container of four sides. $39.99.
Large turkey dinner (14-18 servings). Includes 16-to 18-lb cooked turkey and two containers of four sides.
Turkey breast dinner (7-10 servings). Includes 5-to 7-lb cooked bone-In turkey breast and four delicious sides. $47.99.
You need to place your order at least 24 hours in advance. The Decatur area Publix is open until 9 p.m. Christmas Eve and is closed Christmas Day.

Opens at 5 p.m. Christmas Day. The companion restaurant off West Ponce will be closed Christmas Day.
This chain won't close on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, including the one at 2850 E. College Ave. in Avondale Estates.
Starbucks
Open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Day. Open till 8 p.m. Christmas Eve.
Taco Mac
Open until 10 p.m. Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day.
Ted's Montana Grill
Open until 7 p.m. Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day.
Marriott Courtyard
Restaurant open Christmas Eve, closed Christmas Day.
