The Dekalb History Center will honor outstanding African-Americans who made contributions to the arts during its sixth annual Black History Month celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Historic DeKalb Courthouse located at 101 E. Court Square in Decatur.
The event includes:
- A special performance by the DeKalb School of the Arts
- A seated luncheon by Zest Atlanta Catering
- And Carolyn Glenn as the Mistress of Ceremonies
This year's living legend honorees are:
- Clarence Carter
- Jason Lary
- Don P. Roberts
- Beverly "Guitar" Watkins
