Decatur Meals on Wheels Needs Summer Volunteers

Meals on Wheels needs people to fill in while the regulars take vacation breaks.

LeeAnn Harvey, the volunteer coordinator for the City of Decatur, provided these volunteer opportunities.

Meals On Wheels - Summer Delivery Volunteers

Senior Connections is seeking Decatur Meals On Wheels volunteers to help cover routes this summer out of Decatur First United Methodist Church.  Many of our faithful volunteers miss routes due to vacations over the summer.  If you can’t join us for the long haul, please consider helping out June through September.  Routes are picked up at DFUMC  between 10 and 11 a.m. and take about an hour to deliver, Monday through Friday.  To learn more, please visit www.seniorconnectionsatl.org/volunteer or call 770-455-7602 and ask for Volunteer Services.  You’ll love the way it makes you feel to deliver these meals to seniors.
