'Best Ink' Auditions in Atlanta

If you're an ace at wielding a needle and can turn someone's body into a work of art, the Oxygen reality show "Best Ink" is looking for you. Casting directors from Bunim/Murray Productions will be in Atlanta on June 20 to find tattoo artists for Season 2 of "Best Ink."

The casting call will be at Publik Draft House (654 Peachtree St., Atlanta) from 10 am to 4 pm. Applicants must bring a recent picture of themselves, a photo ID and pictures of some of their tattoo works. Note that the recent picture won't be returned, but the tattoo pictures will. All applicants must be at least 21.

If you cannot attend the open casting call but still want to audition, email bestinkcasting@bunim-murray.com with the subject line ATLANTA. Include your name, phone number, city and short bio. Emails must also include several recent photos, including photos of tattoo artwork. Any submissions without photos will not be accepted.

"Best Ink" features tattoo artists competing for cash prizes and bragging rights in challenges that, yes, do include real people getting real, permanent tattoos. (There's a separate casting form for people who want tattoos.) Last season's winner took home $100,000.
