Avondale Estates Police Charge Two In Auto Theft
A 2001 Toyota Highlander was taken June 24 from in front of the animal shelter on Lake Street, where it had been left running with the keys in the ignition.
Two men have bee charged in a June 24 auto theft in Avondale Estates.
Police said the suspects are Vernon Snow, 20, and Keith Dennis, 23, both of Atlanta. Police earlier reported that a 2001 Toyota Highlander was taken June 24 from in front of the animal shelter on Lake Street, where it had been left running with the keys in the ignition.
They've also been charged in a July 5 burglary in Atlanta.
Avondale Estates police said the arrests were a cooperative effort with Atlanta police and that other agencies may file charges.
