Last month, the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations awarded Agnes Scott College a $250,000 grant for technology updates on campus.
The upgrades, primarily related to improving the college’s campus Wi-Fi, should be complete by spring or early summer.
“We are so grateful to The Arthur Vining
Davis Foundations for this generous gift, which by enhancing our technological
infrastructure will have a positive impact on every member of our campus
community, from students, faculty and staff to campus visitors,” said Elizabeth
Kiss, president of Agnes Scott.
“The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations have a distinguished history of strategic support for the nation’s top liberal arts colleges, and it’s an honor to partner with them.”
The gift from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations is part of the college’s The Greatness Before Us campaign, through which Agnes Scott has received more than $75 million to date.
