What Should Go Here? 800 Block of Columbia Drive

The windows are boarded up and the gas pumps are long gone.

Surely something could be made of this site next to the .

Any ideas? What kind of business would you like to see move into this spot?

Roadside Stand! Roadside Stand! Every time I pass it, I think how perfect it would be for that! Go all out and offer coffee and homemade goodies, and it'd be really grand! :0) I'm guessing the cost of dealing with the underground gas tanks is the main reason it's sat empty for such a long time. Seems like at some point the owner would be required to tackle it, but it may be one of those things that needs to be added to Dekalb's ordinances.

Yup, something similar to David's Produce & Country store off LaVista. Or an ice cream parlor. Something kids could walk to.
