What's Open Thanksgiving Day?
A handful of restaurants and bars (as well as Kroger) will be open on Turkey Day in Decatur and Avondale Estates, though they may have shortened hours.
The family is driving you crazy or maybe you're sick of turkey. If you have to get out of the house, here are a few places in the Decatur and Avondale Estates area that are open on Thanksgiving.
Starbucks on the Decatur Square. If you must have your Starbucks fix, the shop is open 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ted's Montana Grill. Serving a three-course meal on Thanksgiving Day. Prices start at $25 for adults. Open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Courtyard Marriott. The Courtyard Bistro will be open 6:30-10 a.m. and 5-10 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Kroger. This grocery store at 720 Commerce Drive, Decatur, opens at 6 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.
Taco Mac. Open 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. with regular menu.
Trackside Tavern. Open 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. The kitchen will be closed but complimentary snacks will be available.
