Watershed Relocating to Buckhead

Acclaimed Decatur restaurant will reopen in Brookwood building on Peachtree.

restaurant has signed a lease for space in the Brookwood building on Peachtree in Buckhead, according to an Atlanta blog, Tomorrow's News Today.

The move not confirmed or denied by Ross Jones, one of the Watershed owners. In an email to Patch, Jones said she was not ready to disclose details of the new location yet.

Watershed closed Saturday night and owners have not publicly said where or when they're going to reopen. For more than a decade, Watershed had been one of Decatur's top restaurants and helped put the town on the map for people interested in its modern version of traditional Southern food.

Without citing sources, Tomorrow's News Today says Watershed plans to open by the end of the year.

Egads! The dreaded traffic mess that is BUCKHEAD! I avoid that section of Atlanta as much as I can. Almost nothing seems worth going there for lately, though I must on occasions.
