In case you don’t know what a turducken is, Community Q provides this description in an email.

“It is a boneless turkey, stuffed with a boneless chicken, stuffed with a boneless Duck.  The only bones are the Turkey drumsticks and wings. Inside the turkey, the duck and chicken are layered with seasoned rice with Shrimp and Crawfish.  It looks like a whole Turkey but is solid with goodies inside and can be sliced. (no carving necessary)”

That's a lot of bird. The name is a combination of turkey, duck and hen.

In the United States turducken is mainly a Cajun dish. The restaurant is ordering them straight from Shreveport, La.

Interested? You need to make up your mind fast, because Monday, Dec. 12, is the last day to order one from Community Q. The restaurant is at 1361 Clairmont Road, 404--633-2080.
