Such a shame. Many nights were spent stumbling out of the JJ. The staff was always friendly & fun and it was the only place you could have a cigarette after 9:00 without being treated like a criminal. Here's hoping that a local restaurateur will swoop into the auction and reinvent our Local in the spirit of Corner Pub or Brick Store.

I wholeheartedly agree. I look forward to it reopening as a neighborhood pub. We already have enough sports bars, "family-friendly" or otherwise.
