The City of Avondale Estates recently amended its alcohol ordinance to allow for the sale of growlers --refillable glass jugs of 32 or 64 ounces. Customers who come in to buy them are seeking craft beer and will be able to take these for off-premises consumption.

The Beer Growler will offer a menu of options, perhaps even , produced by Avondale local .
