Small Business Summit Thursday at Agnes Scott Thursday

DeKalb County will hold a Small Business Summit from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at Letitia Pate Evans Dining Hall at .

This year’s theme is Innovative Strategies for Business Growth. The college is at 141 E. College Ave., Decatur. The county says,

 The 2012 DeKalb County Small Business Summit is a part of the county’s ongoing effort to promote the growth and development of small businesses in DeKalb County by providing information to help businesses gain access to capital, identify public and private resources, and network with other companies.

 Small business owners attending the summit will hear from professionals on topics, including “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly of Entrepreneurship,” “Retooling for Small Medium Enterprises,” and “Innovative and Emerging Business Strategies.”
