King of Pops Cools Off Decatur Square
Vendor of hand-crafted popsicles sets up shop at the Marta station plaza.
The King of Pops is known all over Atlanta for its popsicle stands with unusual flavors, such as coconut lemongrass, grapefruit mint and raspberry lemon. The King has decided to expand his kingdom to Decatur, with a cart parked at the Decatur Marta station plaza seven days a week for the foreseeable future. Neil Ringer, the vendor on Friday, said the cart will usually arrive about noon weekends and 2 or 3 p.m. during the week.
