Two Movies Shot Here Scheduled For Release in May, August

Scenes from "What To Expect When You're Expecting" and "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" were shot in the area.

Two movies filmed partly in Decatur will hit the screens later this year.

According to IMDb (the Internet Movie Database), "What to Expect When You're Expecting" will be released May 11.

"Timothy Green" is a Disney movie in which Garner and Joel Edgerton play a childless couple who dream about having a child and are shocked when a young boy named Timothy Green shows up at their house one night.

Scenes in the trailer sure don't look like Decatur. "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" also was shot in Albany, Atlanta, Canton, Dawson, Alpharetta and Newnan.

CBS Atlanta reports that several other movies filmed in Georgia are scheduled for release this year, including "Joyful Noise," starring Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah on Friday. The TV station says this movie was filmed partly in Decatur.

, will be released sometime in 2013. It stars Robert Duvall and Billy Bob Thornton.
