Mexican Restaurant Opens Monday in Decatur
May 24 is now the opening date for Mar, another Mexican restaurant.
Hola! Mexican Cantina, the restaurant that moved into the former Decatur Diner space, is scheduled to open Monday.
Hola! will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week co-owner Mike Brosius said. The restaurant is at East Ponce de Leon Avenue and Church Street.
Another new Mexican restaurant in Decatur, Mar, has set a May 24 opening date, said Michele DeHaven of Function:, the restaurant's marketing firm.

When Mar was announced, it was supposed to open last fall. A few weeks ago the opening date was set for the middle of the month.
Mar will occupy the old Feast space on East Howard, across from the Decatur Depot.
