Have You Missed Taco Mac During Football Season?

The Decatur restaurant plans to reopen in October with a new street-front patio along Ponce de Leon Avenue and an all-new and expanded bar area.

The 2013 football season is off and running but one of Decatur’s favorite spots to watch ye olde pigskin remains closed.

The Taco Mac at 240 West Ponce de Leon Avenue, a Decatur mainstay for a dozen years, temporarily shuttered its doors in early August with the purpose of undergoing extensive renovations.

Those renovations continue as the restaurant plans to reopen in October with a new street-front patio along Ponce; an all-new and expanded bar area featuring 100 draft beer taps; new, more comfortable seating and upgraded LED HDTVs throughout the restaurant and bar.
