Sandra McCracken & Derek Webb (Record Release Celebration)

Live show at Eddie's Attic featuring Sandra McCracken &  Derek Webb!!!

Sandra McCracken & Derek Webb celebrate the release of their latest collaborative album, "TN EP" tonight. They not only have played all the instruments on the album, but they have also seamlessly blended their artistic instincts to create an unflinchingly honest record that is markedly different from their solo work and unique to this collaboration. Those attending this show will receive a free copy of "TN EP."

SANDRA MCCRACKEN has received stellar reviews from basically every magazine that has reviewed her CD "Gravity / Love." Performing Songwriter Magazine compared her to The Go-Go's or The Bangles, if they themselves produced more rootsy or folkier tunes. Paste Magazine said that her songs could indeed rival Tom Petty or The Jayhawks, while American Songwriter Magazine said "Sandra McCracken is adept at writing songs that span the abstract and the tangible - songs that beg for repeated listens and imaginative reinterpretations."

DEREK WEBB first entered the music industry as a member of the contemporary Christian band Caedmon's Call who sold over 1 million records, received 10 GMA Dove Award nominations and three Dove Award wins, and six #1 Christian radio hits. In 2003, he left Caedmon's Call to pursue a solo career. Since his departure, he has released five studio albums, a live album, two DVDs, and two EPs (one with his wife, and fellow Attic favorite, Sandra McCracken).
In 2007, in response to the success of the free distribution of his record "Mockingbird," he teamed up with music industry veterans Mark Nicholas, David McCollum, and Brannon McAllister to form NoiseTrade.com. The site allows users to download music for free from independent artists who use the service.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.eddiesattic.com or by calling 877-548-3237.
