CAROLINE HERRING, Decatur resident and one of the Southeast's most distinguished singer-songwriters, will perform musical collaborations on three beloved children's books: "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" by Beatrix Potter, "The Little House" by Virginia Lee Burton, and "Chicken Soup With Rice" by Maurice Sendak. Children of all ages will fall in love with these performances and the books that inspired them. Herring will be performing with a band which includes: Charles Williams, on guitar; Kris Dale, on upright bass; and Marla Feeney, on violin and flute; along with an art director and narrator. The AJC called her Little House performance last fall, "a smart and creative undertaking, something special..." Don't miss a wonderful show! Herring will also be signing copies of "The Little House Songs."
