JOYSCOUT, an Atlanta collective of musicians focused around Emily Kate Boyd and Nicki Thrailkill, invent an eclectic identity through their exploration of roots rock and the song. With narrative sensibility of The Weepies, the compositional beauty of Tori Amos, and the spirit of rock found in songwriters like Elliot Smith and Tegan and Sara, JoyScout's first batch of songs are a lyrically dense treasure that will have you searching for the story behind every line.

The South Carolina native, CLAY ROSS, has become one of the most sought out guitarists in the NYC jazz, world, and roots scene. His popularity shines through as a Jazz Ambassador and as an American folk guitarist and vocalist. He has since completed 4 international tours as a U.S. Jazz Ambassador and now performs in numerous bluegrass festivals across the country with an Eddie's Attic favorite, April Verch. Lately, Clay has been a member of Cyro Baptista's world-renowned percussion ensemble, "Beat the Donkey." The Brazilian music has influenced him so much that his latest album, "Matuto," according to Bold Life Magazine, is a "subtle blend of bluegrass and baiao that adds playful vocals, cavaquinho, and kashaka to his musical arsenal."
