Best known as half of the acclaimed duo, The Brilliant Inventions, ELIOT BRONSON has recently struck out on his own. As a duo, The Brilliant Inventions drew comparisons to Ben Folds Five and Fountains of Wayne, won the famed Eddie's Attic Shootout, and was voted "Best New Music Act" by Atlanta's Creative Loafing. The band ended their partnership in the fall of last year and Eliot returned to the folk and roots music that first drew him to songwriting. The result is a recent selection as a New Folk Finalist at the Kerrville Folk Festival and a new album, "Blackbirds," an intensely personal, stripped down, rough-edged record that showcases Eliot's unique poetic voice, and his finest writing to date.
