Dehlia Low / Doug & Telisha Williams

Live show at Eddie's Attic featuring   Dehlia Low and  Doug & Telisha Williams!!!

DEHLIA LOW came together in late 2007 as part of Asheville, North Carolina's roots music renaissance! Together, they push squarely into the emerging Americana genre, combining their tenacious, authentic vocal style with extraordinary instrumental prowess in original songs that feel at once both old and new. By early 2008, the band's first self-titled EP record was on radio waves across the U.S. Its astonishing reception on Western North Carolina's WNCW as No. 16 of its "Best New Releases of 2008" gave Dehlia Low unexpectedly rapid regional notoriety. Since then, they've played Merlefest in 2010 and their distinctive Appalachian country-bluegrass sound has transcended their native Blue Ridge, bringing the band across the U.S. and Canada on their exciting 2011 tour!

Virginia's, DOUG & TELISHA WILLIAMS, like the very best of singer-songwriters, give a voice to the struggles of the everyday people, as well as the ghosts from the past. Telisha's voice rises from way down deep and delivers the honest truth with a frank clearness that never wavers, as Doug's guitar and harmonies follow suit-giving soul to heart. They have played with artists such as Lucinda Williams, Darrell Scott, Charlie Louvin, and Joe Ely, and have been on stage at Anderson Fair, The Birchmere Music Hall, The Carolina Theater, Godfrey Daniels, Madison Square Park, and FloydFest. They are here tonight in support of their latest release, "Ghost of the Knoxville Girl!"
