Decatur's 'Wimpy' Snowstorm
Kids threw snowballs on the square as the author of the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series visits Decatur.
It doesn't snow a lot in Georgia, and certainly not this early in year year.
But the unexpected happened Saturday, mainly because Jeff Kinney, author of the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series, visited The Little Shop of Stories on the Decatur Square on a promotional tour.
Snow plays a big role in his latest book, "Cabin Fever," which explains how the white stuff ended up on the ground. The snow didn't stick around too long, but everybody had a good time while it lasted.
