Comics & Beer a Winning Combo in Decatur?
'My Parent's Basement' is the name of a possible soon-to-be business in Decatur, and on Saturday, those behind the endeavor are kicking off fundraising efforts by selling thousands of comics at a local yard sale.
Are beer and comics the perfect combo? Some locals feel that way as an upcoming 'Craft Beer Bar/Comic Book Store' is looking to locate itself in downtown Decatur.

As they proclaim at their Facebook page, “Come and bear witness to over 25,000 comic books put on sale in a splendid Decatur yard. Super Rare books to Comics-by-the-Pound, My Parent's Basement has something for YOU!”
The sale will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1064 Forrest Boulevard in Decatur.

Apparently there’s going to be “Pie and Punch” at the yard sale, but no word on the craft beer at this time.
