Sunday Concerts at Woodlands Garden

Bands will perform at this seven-acre oasis in Decatur.

Woodlands Garden at 932 Scott Blvd. in Decatur will present Sunday in the Garden concerts through October.

The public is invited to enjoy a stroll around the grounds or listen to the music. Woodlands Gardens is seven acres of plants and trees managed by the Decatur Preservation Alliance.

The concerts are free and will be held 2-4 p.m. There’s limited parking on-site, so drivers may be directed to overflow parking.

  • Oct. 2: The Unusual Suspects - original and traditional music with guitars, mandolin, harmonica, banjo, vocals.
  • Oct. 9: Radio Ramblers - folksy and fun, lively and engaging; guitars, mandolin, banjo, percussion.
  • Oct. 16: Perimeter Flutes - a lovely, lyrical local flute quartet
  • Oct. 23:  Blues and Bluegrass Jam - with host Eli Dickerson and a garage sale and blue ribbon plant sale.
  • Oct. 30: Storytelling with Audrey Galax and Friends - woodsy and slightly spooky tales for the season.
