Is Jennifer Garner Coming to Decatur?

Could Jennifer Garner be coming to Decatur during the second week of February?

Residents around Forrest Hills Elementary School received notices on their doors about the upcoming filming of "The Odd Life of Timothy Green." Forrest Hills, which DeKalb County closed in 2008 and has sat empty since.

According to Internet Movie Database, the film is a fantasy fable featuring a childless couple, Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgarton ("Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones") and they bury a box containing their wishes for a baby. But when the child is born, he is "not all that he appears," according to the website. The movie also features Rosemarie DeWitt and her real life husband,Β Ron Livingston (aka Jack Berger from "Sex and the City").

Also in the movie is Atlanta native Tim Ware, who once was chief of the City of Decatur Fire Department, according to the movie database. Ware has appeared in such films as "Walk the Line," and "Monster."

Filming will occur between Feb. 8 to 11 at the school and the following roads will be closed during filming: Forrest Boulevard between North Carter Road (south end) and Craigie Avenue at Livingston Place (north end). Off-duty DeKalb County police offers will "assist us with traffic control and security," according to the notice received by neighbors.

While it's unclear if Garner will be coming, a publicist for the film Claire Raskind plans to be in town starting next week.Β 

"I don't know yet what scenes we are shooting in your town," Raskind said.

Peter Hedges is the writer/director of the Disney Pictures film, though no word on when it will be released. Hedges directed "What's Eating Gilbert Grape."
