The 10th annual event raised money for the Decatur Arts Alliance.

Wine-lovers sipped a variety of wines and enjoyed samples from area restaurants at the sold-out 2011 Decatur Wine Festival.

More than 2,000 people were expected at the event, which calls itself "metro Atlanta's largest outdoor wine festival."

Money raised by the festival benefits the Decatur Arts Alliance, which produces the Decatur Arts Festival as well as many other free community arts events.

More than 500 domestic and international wines were poured at the festival, which is in its 10th year.

Many local restaurants offered samples and music was provided by The Shadowboxers and the Gwen Hughes Band.
