Gospel of Faith Worship Center in Decatur will host a performance of “Jaded,” a coming-of-age stage play about faith, family values, and facing your fears.
The play gives a sobering view of love and why it’s of the utmost importance to trust God and acknowledge him in all ways.
Actors Dajour Ashwood and Danee'ta Shine portray long-time loves Daniel and Jade as they prepare for their wedding day while facing the skeletons in their closets.
“Jaded” will debut at 7 p.m. July 26. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
While the play does not use profanity, it includes some violence and strong language.
The drama by playwright and actress Niata Key is presented by N. Key Productions and Divine Vision, the drama ministry led by Key at Gospel of Faith, 3897 Covington Highway in Decatur.
