As a part of the Decatur Theater & Literacy Arts Festival, the following artists will perform at the Old Courthouse with host Jerry G.: 

Laughing Matters: The longest running improvisational comedy troupe, which performs at the Academy Theatre and Manuel’s, and provides training for schools and companies.

The Blacktop Circus: The south’s only premier all-African-American comedy troupe, the BTC has been using its clean brand of improv to entertain schools, corporate functions and clubs since 1997.

Kim Armstrong and “A Popular Dance”: Good American dance fun – a finger-popping, hand-clapping, toe-tapping, hip-shaking, group-dancing, shoulder-swinging, head-bobbing good time.

Literacy Volunteers of Atlanta (LVA) was founded in 1986 by 19 volunteers committed to helping metro Atlanta adults who are eager to raise their literacy abilities.  LVA provides classes in basic literacy, English for speakers of other languages (ESOL), family literacy, and workplace literacy.
