Pulitzer Prize winner David Maraniss will present and sign copies of his book "Barack Obama: The Story," which is based on hundreds of interviews including talks with President Obama in the Oval Office and a trove of personal and official letters, journals, diaries and other documents.
Maraniss is associate editor of The Washington Post, winner of the 1993 Pulitzer for National reporting and the 2007 Pulitzer for team reporting from the Virginia Tech shooting tragedy. The author of an award-winning biography of President Bill Clinton, he also has written biographies of Roberto Clemente and Vince Lombardi and ”The Marched Into Sunlight,” a book about Vietnam and the 1960s.
