National Handwriting Day

Did you know that January 23rd is National Handwriting Day?  Each year, members of the Atlanta Friends of the Alphabet Calligraphy Guild, arrange with local libraries to demonstrate calligraphy by writing names on bookmarks.  It is fun to watch and absolutely free!  This year, local calligraphers George Dorsey and Carol Gray will be at the Decatur Library to write your name on a bookmark.  Come watch them work, learn more about the calligraphy guild and while you are at it, check out the display of calligraphy books available at the library.
