Doors open at 6:30 pm. Tickets will be $12 at the door.

Based out of Atlanta, Ga, MOONTOWER has been playing the local music scene for over five years, sharing the stage with artists such as Jeff Sipe (of Phil Lesh & Friends, Widespread Panic, and Trey Anastasio Band), Benji Shanks (of the Last Waltz Ensemble, Outformation, and Capt. Soularcat), George McConnell (formerly of Widespread Panic), U-Melt and Devon Allman's Honeytribe. Moontower's music does not fit into one genre; it is best described as a melodic mix of Rock, Acoustic, Jam, Folk and Country. The band developed by the simple fact of good friends getting together to do what they love: play music. Moontower has what it takes to jam with the best of the best.

New Moontower Album to be released in early March 2012! Recorded over the past 4 months at WonderDog Sounds! Produced by Benji Shanks (Last Waltz Ensemble, Captain Soularcat, The Sundogs). Engineered by Josh Thane and Mark Michaelson. Special guest musicians include Benji Shanks, Tony Giordano (Lingo, Captain Soularcat), Nicholas J Niespodziani (Yacht Rock Revue, Indianapolis Jones, YOU), David Freeman (Yacht Rock Revue, David Freeman Trio), Rachel Simpson (Villain Family) and Chad Jackson. CD Release Show at Eddie's Attic March 9th! More info to come!

In 2009 Moontower was selected as a finalist for Atlanta's 92.9 DaveFM unsigned band contest!

In April 2010 Moontower will be part of the Sweetwater 420 Festival in Atlanta, GA. Artists also on the lineup include George Porter of The Meters, Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Stanton Moore Trio!

Influences range from The Allman Brothers and The Band to Dave Matthews and Phish to Led Zeppelin and The Grateful Dead. Lookout for Moontower touring around the southeast and at a venue near you!
