Men's Glee Club of UNC Chapel Hill
The Men’s Glee Club from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will appear in concert at Emory Presbyterian Church in Decatur, GA on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. There will be no admission charge.
The UNC Men’s Glee Club, conducted by Dr. Daniel M. Huff, is among the oldest organizations at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and include thousands of alumni as past members. Members of the group are chosen through audition and represent many states in the East and Southeast United States. Their 2012 repertoire includes works by Pablo Casals, Tomás Luis de Victoria, Franz Schubert, Josef Rheinberger, Richard Nance, Moses Hogan,André Thomas, John Rutter, Roger Miller and Eric Idle as well as premiere performances of a new work by member Garth Molyneux and several lighter pieces of various styles.
