House of Blues, A Staged Reading by Glenn Slattery

The Warren G. Harding Presidential Site in Marion, Ohio. The home/museum celebrates the life of America's worst chief executive  even as its future is imperiled by public apathy and state budget cuts. Enter Ed Mason, freshly demoted from tour guide to security guard. On the night shift, Ed is visited by someone who may be the departed president. Warren G. Harding not only wants to talk, he seeks to refurbish his reputation as a crook, womanizer and world-class incompetent. Can Ed rewrite history, keep the home open, fall in love with a 1920s flapper along the way and stay sane? Follow the space-time conundrum through WG'S HOUSE OF BLUES.

Directed by Larry Ruth with Mandi Lee, Chris Corporandy, Ritchie Crownfield, Jacob York, LaLa Cochran, Aimee Ariel and Marc McPherson.
