Create your own Glass Halloween Candy Dish

Children, bring your favorite adult (or adults, come by yourselves!) and create a beautiful dish to hold your Halloween candy in this class taught by local glass artist Brenda Griffith. Using the technique of glass fusing--melting pieces of glass together in a kiln and making a new piece of glass out of them--participants will blend crushed glass, glass spaghetti, and decorative stained glass into a beautiful useful candy dish for the season. Stencil orange pumpkins, black cats, and spooky ghosts in glass powder to make a unique and fun 7.5 inch round work of art! Class will take place at Siyeh Glass Studio located at 2480 Memorial Drive. Parking is available in the vacant lot next to the studio. Each session is limited to 8 participants/ pairs. 4-9 year olds need to be accompanied by an adult. 10 and up can be dropped off. You must preregister online for this class. Great for kids, adults, or couples! Your artwork will be ready 4 days after your class.
